MURREE (Dunya News) At least 10 schoolchildren were injured after a van carrying students veered off the road near Lower Mohra area in Murree and caught fire, according to Rescue 1122 officials.
The van reportedly lost control before falling off the roadside. Shortly after the accident, flames erupted from the vehicle, leaving several children with burn injuries.
Rescue 1122 emergency teams reached the scene soon after receiving information about the incident. Rescue personnel evacuated the children from the vehicle and provided initial medical treatment at the site.
The injured children were subsequently shifted to Civil Hospital Murree for further medical care.
Meanwhile, the rescue service's firefighting team extinguished the blaze and completed the cooling operation at the accident site.
Authorities have not yet provided further details about the cause of the accident.
