ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter and former captain Mohammad Rizwan has decided to once again contact the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) regarding allegations against him, according to sources.
Sources said Rizwan will write to the NCCIA again to seek clarification about the allegations against him. He will also ask the agency about reports claiming that he has not been cooperating with the investigation.
According to sources, Rizwan had provided the NCCIA access to his mobile phone during his first appearance and handed over the password of his iPhone. He has not received any further notice from the agency since then.
Sources said the NCCIA has also not informed Rizwan in writing that he failed to cooperate. Rizwan is willing to cooperate with the investigation but wants written details of the allegations against him from the agency.
The NCCIA is investigating Mohammad Rizwan and Imam-ul-Haq, with sources saying the agency is focusing on alleged suspicious transactions involving the cricketers.
