QUETTA (Dunya News) – Security forces have killed more than 71 terrorists in operations across different areas of Balochistan over the past 96 hours, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to the ISPR, security forces have been conducting operations against what it described as Indian-sponsored Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan in different parts of the province.
In Shaban, Quetta, security forces conducted a successful operation against terrorists, killing 33 Indian-sponsored terrorists so far. Multiple terrorist hideouts were also cleared during the operation, while a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives was recovered.
The ISPR said 23 terrorists were killed during operations conducted over the past 72 hours, while security forces also cleared a vast area of terrorists.
It said the local population had been cleared of the threat posed by Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered during operations in Nushki and Mand.

According to the ISPR, more than 71 terrorists have been killed in different areas of Balochistan during the past 96 hours.
The military’s media wing said the operations in Shaban and other areas had dealt a major blow to what it described as Indian-backed Afghan proxies.
The ISPR said the counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” would continue with full resolve. Security forces and law enforcement agencies remain committed to eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
President Asif Ali Zardari, commended the security forces for their successful operations against terrorists in Balochistan.
The president lauded the security forces for eliminating over 71 terrorists during “Operation Shaban” and others across various parts of the province, President Secretariat Media Wing said in a press release.
He said the successful operations against terrorists of Fitna-al-Khwarij and Fitna-al-Hindustan, operating under the patronage of India and the Afghan Taliban, were highly commendable.
Terming the clearance of numerous terrorist hideouts in Balochistan a major success for the security forces, the president emphasized that operations would continue until the complete eradication of terrorism fueled by foreign patronage and assistance.
“The sacrifices and services of our security forces in the fight against terrorism are a source of pride for the entire nation,” the president added.
