DI KHAN (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi visited the residence of former chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur despite reported differences between the two leaders, where they held a meeting.
According to Faraz Mughal, spokesperson for Ali Amin Gandapur, the KP chief minister was personally received by the former chief minister upon his arrival at his residence.
The meeting comes amid reports of differences between the two PTI leaders, although no details of the issues discussed during their meeting were immediately disclosed.
Following the meeting, Afridi and Gandapur visited a hospital to meet those injured in the suicide attack in Darazinda a day earlier.
The two leaders inquired about the condition of the injured and prayed for their early recovery. They also met doctors treating the victims and received a briefing on their health and the medical care being provided to them.
The spokesperson said Chief Minister Sohail Afridi would also hold an important press conference at Gandapur's residence later in the day.
The press conference is expected to provide further details about the meeting and the government's response to the Darazinda suicide attack.
