Gold prices rebound after four-day decline, rise by Rs4,700 per tola

Gold prices rose sharply in Pakistan after four consecutive sessions of decline, with the price per tola increasing by Rs4,700 as global bullion rates also climbed.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices increased significantly in international and local markets on Friday after declining for four consecutive days.

In the international market, the price of gold rose by $47 per ounce to reach $4,305.

The increase in global bullion prices was reflected in Pakistan's domestic market, where the price of gold rose by Rs4,700 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs4,029, reaching Rs388,404.

Following the latest increase, the price of one tola of gold reached Rs453,036 in local bullion markets.

The latest rise reverses part of the decline recorded in the domestic gold market over the previous four trading sessions.
