KARACHI (Dunya News) — Gold prices in Pakistan fell sharply for the fifth consecutive day on Thursday, with the price of 24-karat gold declining by Rs5,600 per tola amid a drop in international gold prices.
According to data released by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs5,600 per tola, bringing it down to Rs448,336.
The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs4,800, reaching Rs384,175. Meanwhile, the price of silver fell by Rs171 per tola to Rs6,837.
In the international market, gold prices declined by $56 per ounce to $4,258. The fall in international prices also contributed to the decline in gold rates in the local market.
