ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Several major highways and motorways will be closed to all traffic from Wednesday evening, according to the Motorway Police.
The M-1 motorway will remain closed in both directions from the Islamabad Toll Plaza to the Chachh Interchange.
Several interchanges on the M-1 will also be closed, including Fateh Jang, Tarnol, Sangjani, Brahma Bahtar, Burhan, Hazara Motorway and Ghazi interchanges.
The M-14 motorway will also be closed in both directions from Hakla to Kundal from Wednesday evening.
The closures on the M-14 will include Fateh Jang, Pindi Gheb, Khurpa, Tarap, Daud Khel, Kot Balian and Isa Khel interchanges.
The Motorway Police further said the GT Road (N-5) would also be closed in both directions at Attock Khurd from Wednesday evening.
Motorway Police advised citizens to check the latest traffic situation and follow official instructions before travelling.
