TEHRAN (Web Desk) – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has arrived in Iran on an official visit, where he held talks with his Iranian counterpart, Eskandar Momeni.
The meeting focused on Pakistan-Iran bilateral relations and the latest developments in the region. The two sides also discussed continued efforts to promote peace and stability.
During the meeting, the ministers reviewed progress in ongoing cooperation between Pakistan and Iran across various sectors. They also exchanged views on the regional situation and matters of mutual interest.
Momeni expressed appreciation for Pakistan’s continued efforts towards regional peace and stability. He thanked the Pakistani leadership for its efforts in promoting peace in the region and said Iran valued Pakistan’s consistent role in this regard.
The Iranian interior minister also described Pakistan’s recent engagement as beneficial, highlighting the importance of continued cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.
Naqvi said bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran would be further strengthened in the coming period. He also emphasised the importance of continued engagement and cooperation between the two countries.
Naqvi is currently on an official visit to Iran. Momeni received the Pakistani interior minister at the airport upon his arrival.
