KARACHI (Web Desk) - Karachi University professor Arif Saqi has reconciled with Koneen Shah, the young man accused of assaulting him, after Shah visited the professor at his residence and apologised.
According to sources, Shah met Professor Saqi at his home last night and expressed regret over the incident. The professor accepted his apology and forgave him.
Speaking to Geo News, Professor Saqi said the damage caused to his nephew’s vehicle in the incident had also been compensated.
The reconciliation comes as Shah is currently out on bail in the assault case.
The incident had drawn attention after footage and reports of the alleged assault involving the university professor and the young man circulated publicly.
The latest development follows the meeting between the two sides, with Professor Saqi confirming that the financial loss related to the vehicle had been addressed.
