LAHORE (Dunya News) – Most parts of the country are expected to experience dry weather during the next 12 hours, while the plains are likely to remain hot during the daytime, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
Partly cloudy conditions are expected over northern hilly areas during the afternoon.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, with humidity reaching 74 percent. The maximum temperature is expected to remain between 37 and 39 degrees Celsius, with hot and humid weather forecast for the city. Dunya News also reported that Karachi is expected to remain hot and humid, with temperatures likely to rise further.
Most parts of Balochistan are likely to remain hot and dry. However, light rain is expected in Barkhan, Musakhel, Ziarat, Harnai, Zhob, Sherani and Khuzdar, while strong winds may also occur in some areas.
In Peshawar, partly cloudy and dry weather is expected, with the temperature likely to rise to 34 degrees Celsius.
Most plain districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are expected to experience hot and humid weather during the day. However, light drizzle is likely in Nowshera, Kohat, Hangu, Kurram, Bajaur and Mohmand.
Strong winds accompanied by rain and thunderstorms are expected in Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla and Abbottabad. Light rain with strong winds is also likely in Khyber, Karak, Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan and Waziristan.
The Flood Forecasting Division’s latest outlook also indicates mainly dry weather across most parts of the country, with isolated rain or thunderstorms possible in parts of upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the northern catchments.
