WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - US President Donald Trump has said he is preparing to make a decision on Iran soon, adding that his administration is considering several options as tensions between Washington and Tehran remain high.
Trump said the options under consideration include what he described as completely destroying Iran, weakening the country economically and reaching an agreement with Tehran.
He said he was now at the stage of making a decision on how the United States would proceed.

“There will be some very big events” in the near future, Trump said, without providing further details about the nature or timing of any potential action.
His remarks come amid continued tensions between the United States and Iran, with Washington weighing military pressure, economic measures and diplomacy as possible approaches.
Recent reports have indicated that Trump may be nearing a major decision on Iran.
The US administration has previously signalled that it intends to maintain military pressure while keeping the possibility of negotiations open.
The White House has also announced measures aimed at increasing economic pressure on Tehran.
