WASHINGTON (Dunya News) - US President Donald Trump has reviewed several options for potential military action against Yemen’s Houthis and cut short his stay at Camp David before returning to the White House, according to US media reports.
Reports said Trump considered various potential strike options against the Houthis while staying at Camp David.
The development comes amid heightened tensions in the region following reported missile and drone attacks by the Houthis targeting Saudi Arabia.
Saudi authorities said a ballistic missile heading toward the kingdom was intercepted, while the Houthis claimed to have targeted sensitive facilities in the Saudi capital.
Meanwhile, the US State Department and American diplomatic missions in the region have issued security alerts to US citizens across the Middle East.
Americans have been advised to prepare for possible flight cancellations, airspace closures and other travel disruptions.

The advisory urged US citizens already in the region to exercise increased caution and those planning travel to reconsider their plans.
It cited several countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Lebanon and Israel.
The State Department said the security situation remained complex and could deteriorate rapidly, urging Americans to follow updated guidance from US embassies and consulates and check flight status before travelling.
