KARACHI (Dunya News) - Bodies of five members of the same family, including a couple and their children, were recovered from a flat in Karachi’s Ahsanabad area on Sunday, police said.
According to police, the bodies appeared to be several days old. The deceased included a man identified as Dr Umar, who was employed at a hospital in Ahsanabad, his wife and three daughters.
The bodies were being shifted to a hospital for post-mortem examinations to determine the cause of death.
SSP East said police were investigating the incident and that officers were present at the scene. A crime scene unit had also been called to collect evidence and assist in the investigation.
