DUBAI (Web Desk) - Air travel in the United Arab Emirates has been significantly disrupted amid the ongoing war involving Iran, with several flights cancelled or delayed from major international airports in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.
According to media reports, multiple flights to Gulf countries, particularly Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia, have been affected.
Passengers have been advised to check their flight status before leaving for the airport.
Flydubai cancelled flights from Dubai to Bahrain, Abha and Yanbu, while several other services to Belgrade, Moscow, Almaty and Minsk were delayed.
The airline advised passengers to arrive at least four hours before departure.
Etihad Airways also revised the departure times of several flights, including services to Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Islamabad.

Air Arabia’s network was among the most affected, with numerous flights between Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain and Abha cancelled. Several other flights remained listed as “not yet departed.”
Indian carrier SpiceJet also cancelled its Dubai-Mumbai flight, SG5113.
UAE aviation authorities said major airports remained operational but warned that schedules could change.
Travellers were urged to check airline websites or apps, keep their contact details updated for alerts and complete online check-in before travelling.
