KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) extended gains as it continued bullish momentum on Friday amid buying rally.
The benchmark KSE-100 Index rose by more than 1,500 points, reaching 170,703 points during early trading.
The market had also closed higher in the previous session on Thursday. The KSE-100 Index gained 1,021.40 points, or 0.61%, to close at 169,043.20 points, compared with 168,021.80 points in the preceding session.
Trading volume in the ready market increased to 386.368 million shares from 356.138 million shares, while the traded value rose to Rs20.091 billion from Rs19.487 billion.
Market capitalisation also increased, reaching Rs18.847 trillion compared with Rs18.721 trillion a day earlier.
