(Web Desk) WhatsApp has introduced an expanded music duration feature for Status updates, allowing users to share longer music clips, according to WhatsApp Beta Info.
Under the new feature, users will be able to add music clips of up to 30 seconds to their Status updates. Previously, music-based Status updates were limited to 15 seconds.
WhatsApp Status works as an alternative to Instagram Stories, allowing users to share temporary updates with their contacts.
With the expanded feature, users can select up to 30 seconds of a song to accompany a photo in their Status. They can also share a music clip directly as a Status update.
The update gives WhatsApp users more flexibility when adding music to their Status posts.
