(Web Desk) - Iran has sent seven conditions to the United States through intermediaries, with the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz dependent on their fulfillment.
According to Report, citing Tasnim and a source familiar with the matter, Iran has communicated the conditions to Washington through mediators.
"Iran has sent seven conditions to the United States through intermediaries for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, and the strait will remain closed until these seven conditions, approved by the highest authorities of the Islamic Republic of Iran, are fulfilled.
Therefore, the agreement between Iran and Oman does not mean that the Strait of Hormuz is being reopened," the source said.
According to the source, the reopening of the strait depends entirely on Washington's actions.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Saturday accused the United States of targeting civilian infrastructure and depriving Iranians of basic necessities, saying Tehran would not surrender under pressure.
“If Americans are warriors, let them face our valiant military forces,” Pezeshkian wrote on X. “Why wage war on civilian infrastructure, food supplies, and livelihoods?”
He also accused Washington of denying people access to water, food and medicine. “Our people can’t be bullied into submission. Iran won’t surrender.”
