GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) - Senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Member of the National Assembly from NA-77 Gujranwala-I, Chaudhry Mahmood Bashir Virk, has passed away.
According to family sources, Mahmood Bashir Virk had been ill for some time and was undergoing treatment at a hospital in Lahore, where he died.
Mahmood Bashir Virk had won the 2024 general elections from NA-77 Gujranwala-I on a PML-N ticket.
He secured 109,704 votes, while independent candidate Rashida Tariq received 91,825 votes and Pakistan Peoples Party candidate Imtiaz Safdar Warraich secured 17,059 votes.
