QUETTA (Dunya News) - The Balochistan government has announced a general relaxation in the upper age limit for candidates applying for government jobs.
According to a notification, the maximum age limit has been set at 43 years for general candidates, persons with disabilities and legal heirs of martyrs.
The notification said government employees who have completed two years of continuous service will be eligible to apply for jobs up to the age of 50 years.
However, the relaxation will not apply to posts for which the prescribed maximum age limit is below 43 years.
A spokesperson for the Balochistan government said no further relaxation in the upper age limit would be granted.
The new age-relaxation policy will remain effective for three years from the date of issuance of the notification, according to the notification.
