LONDON (Dunya News) - President Asif Ali Zardari departed London for Pakistan on Wednesday after spending more than a week in the United Kingdom.
Speaking briefly before his departure, President Zardari was asked about his health and replied, “By the grace of Allah, I am well.” Asked about his stay in London, he said he had “a good time” there.
Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Tipu Usman, saw the president off at the airport.
According to sources, President Zardari underwent several medical examinations during his stay in London.

However, he did not participate in any political activities during his visit.
The trip marked President Zardari’s first visit to the United Kingdom in nearly six years.
During his stay, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari also travelled to London on several occasions to meet the president.
President Zardari’s visit took place amid a period of heightened political activity in Pakistan, although his engagements in the UK remained largely private and focused on his personal and health-related matters.
