RIYADH (Dunya News) - Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has strongly condemned the attacks carried out by Iran against Jordan, describing them as a blatant violation of international law.
In a statement, the Saudi Foreign Ministry called for an immediate end to attacks on Jordan and other countries in the region.
Saudi Arabia also called for serious and effective measures to promote peace and stability across the Middle East, stressing the need for efforts aimed at preventing further escalation and protecting regional security.

Earlier, the cabinet session, chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman in Jeddah, reiterated Saudi Arabia’s commitment to defending its sovereignty, maintaining the security of its citizens and expatriates, and safeguarding its national assets.
After reviewing the latest developments in the region, the Council of Ministers affirmed that the Houthi terrorist militia committed a heinous act of aggression against civilian and economic targets in the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran, while continuing to target commercial vessels in the Red Sea and international maritime navigation.
In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the session, Minister of Media Salman Al-Dossary said that the Cabinet reiterated its categorical rejection of the hostile approach and criminal behaviour that the Houthi extremist militia has consistently pursued in threatening the stability of Yemen and its Arab and Islamic neighbours.
