KARACHI (Web Desk) -The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2026 will be conducted on Sunday, Sept. 20, with examination centres established in Karachi and several other cities for candidates seeking admission to medical and dental colleges.
According to Sukkur IBA Testing Services, MDCAT 2026 in Sindh will be conducted through SIBA Testing Services, with arrangements being made to facilitate candidates at designated centres.
In Karachi, examination centres will be established at NED University of Engineering and Technology and Dow University, while centres will also operate in Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Larkana, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas and Shaheed Benazirabad.
An examination facility has also been arranged in Islamabad for eligible candidates from Sindh who have relocated to the federal capital.
In Hyderabad, the admission test will be conducted at Public School Latifabad, while candidates assigned to Jamshoro will appear for the examination at Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences.
The Mirpurkhas examination centre will be established at Mir Sher Muhammad Talpur Public School.
In Larkana, candidates will take the test at the Police Training School Ground on Wagon Road, while the examination centre in Shaheed Benazirabad will be located at Quaid-e-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology.
Candidates appearing in Sukkur will take the MDCAT at IBA Public School on Old Airport Road.
For Sindh residents who have shifted to Islamabad and have been assigned a centre there, the test will be conducted at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts.
SIBA Testing Services said the MDCAT examination would have a duration of three hours.
Candidates have been advised to reach their designated examination centres at the prescribed reporting time to avoid difficulties in gaining entry.
Under the examination arrangements, candidates will not be permitted to leave the examination hall before completion of the test.
Authorities have also announced measures aimed at facilitating candidates and their accompanying family members.
Separate waiting areas will be established for parents at all examination centres, while candidates will be provided with essential stationery and clean drinking water inside the examination facilities.
The arrangements are intended to ensure an orderly testing process across multiple cities as students compete for admission to medical and dental institutions.
Candidates have been advised to carefully check their assigned examination centres and comply with instructions issued by the testing authorities, particularly regarding reporting times and examination-day requirements.
