LAHORE (Dunya News) - A man was killed while a woman and two children were injured after the roof of a house collapsed during rainfall in Lahore’s Raiwind area on Friday.
According to rescue officials, the roof of the dilapidated house collapsed amid the rain, trapping the occupants under the debris.
Rescue teams rushed to the scene and launched an operation to retrieve those trapped beneath the rubble.
A man identified as Muhammad Ashraf died at the scene after being buried under the debris, rescue sources said.
The rescuers pulled a woman and two children from the rubble and provided them with first aid before shifting them to THQ Hospital Raiwind for further treatment.
Officials said the condition of all three injured persons was reported to be out of danger.
The incident occurred as rainfall affected parts of the provincial capital, posing an increased risk to residents of old and structurally weak buildings.
