MURREE (Dunya News) – A mother allegedly threw her two-month-old baby into a rainwater drain in Gohra village of Union Council Masiyari in Murree, police said.
According to Murree District Police Officer (DPO), a case has been registered against the woman after she allegedly threw the infant into the rainwater drain.
The DPO said police recovered the body of the baby from the drain, while both parents have been taken into custody.
Initial investigations revealed that the mother told police that she already had six children and was unable to raise another child.
