LONDON (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s national cricket team met King Charles at Clarence House, the historic London residence of the British royal family.
During the gathering, King Charles spoke with the Pakistani players and team officials. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi was also present.
King Charles discussed cricket with Naqvi, along with Pakistan’s efforts to combat terrorism and maintain peace and security in the country.
The British High Commissioner told King Charles that Pakistan and Naqvi had played an important role in promoting peace in the region.
Speaking to the media after the meeting, Naqvi described the encounter as highly productive, saying the king encouraged the players and praised efforts aimed at promoting peace.
Following the meeting with King Charles, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi departed the United Kingdom to return to Pakistan.
