ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Dr Uzma Khan has filed a contempt of court petition in the Supreme Court over the alleged denial of a meeting with PTI founder Imran Khan and the facility for him to speak to his children by phone.
A second contempt of court petition by Dr Uzma Khan regarding the treatment of the PTI founder and his transfer to hospital has been filed before the Supreme Court. The petition alleges that she was not allowed to meet Imran Khan and that he was not provided the facility to speak to his children by phone. The petitioner maintained that the court’s August 18 order was not implemented.
The petition also alleges that despite the court order, a meeting with the PTI founder was not arranged, while Dr Uzma Khan, Aleema Khan and Qasim Zaman were also prevented from meeting him.
Additional documents have also been submitted along with the petition, while two miscellaneous applications have been filed for the submission of further documents. Additional documents have also been submitted in the petitions filed by the PTI founder and Dr Uzma Khan.
