GUJRANWALA (Web Desk) — A woman allegedly killed her younger sister following an argument over social media earnings and control of an account, police said.
According to the police, both sisters were involved in creating videos for social media. A dispute reportedly broke out between them over the ownership of the social media account and financial transactions related to earnings.
During the argument, the elder sister allegedly attacked her younger sister with a knife, resulting in her death.
Police arrested the accused and recovered the alleged murder weapon from her possession, according to the investigating officer.
The accused was later produced before a Judicial Magistrate, where police requested further proceedings in the case. The court subsequently sent the suspect to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.
Police said the investigation into the incident and the circumstances surrounding the dispute is continuing.
