DUBAI (Dunya News) – The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its latest Men’s Player Rankings, with Australia’s Mitchell Starc becoming the world’s No. 1 Test bowler for the first time.
Starc overtook India’s Jasprit Bumrah for the top spot after taking 10 wickets in the second Test against Bangladesh.
Australia’s Pat Cummins climbed one place to fourth, while Pakistan’s Nauman Ali is ranked eighth.
Australia’s Nathan Lyon moved up two places to 10th, while England’s Ollie Robinson jumped 15 places to 11th. England’s Josh Tongue also made significant progress, climbing 16 places to 17th.
Pakistan’s Mohammad Abbas dropped seven places to 25th, while England’s Jofra Archer climbed six places to 38th.
India’s Manav Suthar rose 28 places to 48th, Bangladesh’s Shoriful Islam moved up 17 places to 57th, while Pakistan’s Ali Usman climbed 30 places to 67th.
In the Test batting rankings, England’s Harry Brook retained the top position. India’s Rishabh Pant climbed six places to seventh, while Pakistan’s Babar Azam remained 10th.
Australia’s Cameron Green rose nine places to 21st, Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan moved up one place to 26th, and Abdullah Shafique climbed seven places to 27th.
India’s KL Rahul jumped five places to 30th, while Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel dropped seven places to 33rd. Shan Masood moved up one place to 38th.
Pakistan’s Salman Ali Agha dropped two places to 40th, while Sri Lanka’s Sonal Dinusha made a major 49-place jump to 54th.
