AJK PML-N parliamentary meeting reposes trust in leadership

Vows development, merit in Azad Jammu and Kashmir

MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) - PML-N Azad Kashmir Parliamentary Party has expressed confidence in the leadership of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

The parliamentary party meeting was held under the chairmanship of Shah Ghulam Qadir here on Sunday. The parliamentary party vowed to take practical steps for the development and progress of Azad Kashmir, the supremacy of the constitution and law, and the restoration of merit.

The parliamentary party reiterated its commitment to the ideology of accession to Pakistan and "Kashmir will become Pakistan" while announcing full support for the actions of the Pakistan Armed Forces under the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. The meeting expressed satisfaction over Pakistan's global recognition, adding that the future government will take vigorous steps to improve peace and law and order situation in Azad Kashmir.

The parliamentary party decided to revive the stalled construction and development process in Azad Kashmir and formulate a comprehensive policy for the welfare of the people.

The parliamentary party expressed full confidence in the recent electoral process in Azad Kashmir and congratulated the Chief Election Commissioner and the administration for conducting successful elections.

PML-N Azad Kashmir Parliamentary Party expressed concern over the situation in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and called on the international community to take notice of Indian war crimes in Occupied Kashmir.

It said India violated United Nations and Security Council resolutions in 2019 and illegally revoked the special status of Occupied Kashmir.

The parliamentary party said that the struggle of the Kashmiri people is legitimate, peaceful and for the right to self-determination. It pays tribute to the eternal struggle and unparalleled sacrifices of Kashmir.

The PML-N Azad Kashmir Parliamentary Party reiterated its commitment to political, moral and diplomatic support for the Kashmiris.

It rejected the US ambassador to India's statement on Kashmir and said that the Kashmir dispute should be resolved in accordance with UN resolutions.
