SARGODHA (Dunya News) - An audit officer was killed in a traffic accident on the motorway near Sargodha after a Vigo vehicle crashed into another vehicle reportedly because its driver fell asleep.
According to Rescue sources, the accident occurred near the Salim Interchange when the Vigo collided with a vehicle travelling ahead. Audit officer Muhammad Ali, who was returning to Lahore from Rawalpindi with his family, died at the scene.
The driver, Muhammad Shoaib, sustained injuries and was provided initial medical treatment at the site before being shifted to a hospital.
Other family members suffered minor scratches in the accident but remained safe. Rescue personnel completed relief and rescue operations at the scene.
