LEEDS (Dunya News) – Pakistan Test cricket team captain Salman Ali Agha has acknowledged that Mohammad Rizwan, Saud Shakeel and he himself have been struggling with form, admitting that the performance of all three players is a cause for concern.
Speaking at a press conference after Pakistan’s defeat in the first Test, Salman Ali Agha said maintaining consistency would be crucial for the team to win in England.
He said any team in cricket can make a comeback on any given day, adding that Pakistan have the potential to bounce back but failed to execute their plans in the first Test.
Pakistan is currently playing a three-match Test series in England as part of the ICC World Test Championship. England won the first Test at Headingley, Leeds by an innings and 103 runs on August 21, 2026, taking a 1-0 lead in the series.
