Barrister Gohar says Imran Khan not negotiating any deal

PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar said Imran Khan is not negotiating any deal, urged implementation of the court order and called his imprisonment unjust.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan said that party founder Imran Khan is not negotiating any deal and considers his continued imprisonment unjustified.

Speaking to the media at Parliament House, Gohar said the federal government’s review petition had not yet been assigned a number and urged authorities to implement the court’s order.

He said it had taken considerable time for the case to reach the stage where the order was issued, adding that the directive should now be implemented.

The PTI chairman appreciated the authorities for fulfilling their commitment to allow Nooreen Niazi to meet Imran Khan.

Gohar said he had not spoken to Nooreen Niazi after her meeting with Imran Khan, adding that she had respected her words by not speaking to him after the meeting.

He reiterated that Imran Khan was not negotiating any deal and said the PTI founder’s continued detention was unjust.
