(Web Desk) - Sarwat Gilani has revealed that Bollywood icon Aamir Khan once asked her for episodes of legendary Pakistani comedian and actor Moin Akhtar’s television show Loose Talk.
Speaking in a recent interview, Gilani said she came into contact with several Indian personalities after the web series Churails was released internationally. She also connected with Aamir Khan through a member of his production team whom she knew.
Gilani said she initially assumed that Aamir Khan’s team had contacted her because the Bollywood star was considering offering her a role in a Hindi film.
“I thought, wow, Aamir Khan. Maybe I’m going to be in a Hindi film,” she recalled.
However, she soon discovered that Khan’s interest was not in casting her for a film but in obtaining episodes of Loose Talk, the popular programme hosted by Moin Akhtar.
According to Gilani, Khan specifically requested the complete episodes of the show.
She also recalled that the Bollywood actor had praised Moin Akhtar’s extraordinary versatility, saying he had never seen an actor who could convincingly portray such a wide range of appearances and characters with such skill.
