RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Security forces have killed two more terrorists in an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan, taking the number of terrorists killed in operations across the province over the past three days to 19, according to security sources.
The sources said the operation was conducted after intelligence reports indicated the presence of terrorists between Killi Zaik and Kaghli areas, around 12 kilometres north of the Baseema camp.
During an exchange of fire with security forces, two terrorists were killed while three others were injured.
One of the slain terrorists was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed alias Koh Yar, the sources said. Ammunition, magazines, hand grenades and material used for making improvised explosive devices were also recovered from the terrorists.
Meanwhile, seven terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation in Lajay area of Balochistan’s Kharan district on the previous day under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.
Earlier, on August 15, security forces killed 10 alleged Fitna al-Hindustan operatives during a major operation in Balochistan’s Khuzdar district.
According to security sources, security forces will continue operations until the complete elimination of terrorism in Balochistan. All necessary measures will be taken to bring terrorist elements to their logical end.
