(Web Desk) – The Pakistani Embassy in Saudi Arabia has issued important advisory for Umrah pilgrims and workers, urging them to strictly follow Saudi laws and avoid any illegal activities, including begging.
In a video message shared through its official X account, the embassy advised Pakistani citizens to comply with the conditions of their visas, avoid overstaying their permitted period and refrain from activities that could violate Saudi laws.
The video highlights the possible consequences of breaking local laws, including arrest, investigation, detention and deportation.
The embassy also specifically urged Pakistani visitors and workers to stay away from begging and to act responsibly throughout their stay in Saudi Arabia. Umrah pilgrims were further encouraged to respect the holy sites and observe Saudi laws and regulations.
The embassy's message comes amid social media reactions expressing concern and disappointment over incidents involving Pakistani citizens begging in Saudi Arabia.
