MUZAFFARABAD (Dunya News) – The inside story of an important meeting of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Kashmir parliamentary party has emerged.
According to sources, the meeting discussed nominating PML-N Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Shah Ghulam Qadir as the party’s candidate for the office of prime minister of Azad Kashmir.
Nawaz Sharif said during the meeting that Shah Ghulam Qadir was a good person who had worked hard and that Allah had blessed him with success.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, former Punjab chief minister Hamza Shehbaz, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, and other federal and party leaders attended the meeting.

PML-N AJK President Shah Ghulam Qadir, former AJK prime minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan and newly elected members of the AJK Legislative Assembly also participated in the meeting.
The meeting reaffirmed the party’s commitment to its future strategy, public service in Azad Kashmir and further advancing the region’s development.
