ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) — Norway’s Foreign Minister will arrive in Pakistan on Thursday for a two-day official visit at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, the Foreign Office said on Wednesday.
The Norwegian foreign minister will visit Pakistan from August 13 to 14, 2026, marking the first visit by a Norwegian foreign minister to Pakistan in a decade.
According to Foreign Office spokesperson, Ishaq Dar and his Norwegian counterpart will hold delegation-level talks during the visit, reviewing all aspects of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Norway.
The discussions will focus on expanding cooperation in key areas including trade and investment, climate change, education and people-to-people contacts.
The two foreign ministers will also exchange views on important regional and international developments, the spokesperson said.
The Foreign Office described the visit as an important step towards further strengthening bilateral ties between Pakistan and Norway and exploring new avenues of cooperation across multiple sectors.
