NADRA introduces self-service kiosks to simplify citizen services

Updated on:

NADRA has introduced self-service kiosks allowing citizens to access identity card and registration services without waiting in long queues.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced self-service kiosks to make basic citizen services more convenient and reduce waiting times at its registration centres.

The ATM-like machines allow citizens to access services related to identity cards and Family Registration Certificates (FRCs) without having to wait in long queues or visit service counters for every task.

Known as self-service kiosks, the machines are designed to provide a simple and automated process. Citizens can first verify their identity, select the required service on the screen and then follow the instructions provided by the machine.

According to NADRA spokesperson Syed Shabahat Ali, around 65 to 70 percent of citizens can complete their required services through the automated kiosks without facing queues or unnecessary delays.

The initiative is aimed at improving service delivery, reducing pressure on NADRA counters and providing citizens with faster and more convenient access to registration-related services.
