(Web Desk) - YouTuber Saadur Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, has said parents should take responsibility for what their children watch online instead of blaming YouTubers for their behaviour.
Speaking on a recent podcast, Ducky Bhai responded to parents who blame content creators when their children become disrespectful or develop bad habits. He said watching his videos is a choice and claimed that his content does not include anything that could negatively affect children.
He also talked about the strict rules his own parents followed when he was growing up. He said his father closely monitored his use of technology and used parental controls to check what he was searching for and watching.
“My father could do that, so why can’t other parents?” he asked.
Ducky Bhai said parents should guide their children instead of expecting YouTubers to do so. He also reminded viewers that YouTube is not a school and that children are not required to watch his videos. “You have the option to watch me or not,” he said.
The YouTuber also discussed his experience of spending around 100 days in Lahore’s Camp Jail in connection with allegations involving an illegal online gambling application. He was granted bail in November 2025.
Describing his time in jail, Ducky Bhai said the experience was extremely difficult because of isolation and limited space. He said he missed opportunities to walk, play sports and socialise with other people. He also said that, for the first time in his life, he started reading newspapers and requested books while in jail.
He explained that being in jail also made it difficult to know who supported or criticised him during his case. Since social media mainly shows recent content, he could not easily find older posts and reactions.
Ducky Bhai also commented on controversies involving fellow content creator Rajab Butt. He said personal matters should be handled quickly and privately, with the help of family elders before they become bigger problems.
Overall, Ducky Bhai’s comments focused on parental responsibility, the limits of online influence, and the personal impact of controversies and time in jail.
