Pakistan rifle team wins 13 medals at British Open 2026

Pakistan’s rifle team won 13 medals, including seven golds, at the British Open 2026 ahead of the F-Class World Championship.

LONDON (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s rifle team delivered an impressive performance at the British Open 2026, winning 13 medals, including seven gold, two silver and four bronze medals.

Around 185 world-class shooters from 24 countries participated in the competition. Despite competing with one of the smallest contingents at the event, Pakistan’s shooters produced an outstanding performance.

Ahsan Gul won gold medals in the 1,000-yard Under-25 and 1,000-yard Under-25 Aggregate competitions.

Huzaifa Gul was Pakistan’s standout performer, securing four gold, two silver and one bronze medal across various events at the British Open.

Muhammad Waleed won gold in the 1,000-yard competition and also claimed bronze in the FTR Aggregate event. Pakistani shooters also recorded notable results in various 800-yard and 900-yard competitions.

According to the Pakistan Long Range Rifle Association, the British Open 2026 was an important preparation event for Pakistan’s team ahead of the World Championship. The strong performance has also boosted the morale of the national rifle team.

The 7th F-Class World Championship is being held in Britain from August 10 to 16. Following their success at the British Open, Pakistan’s team is confident of making a strong showing at the global championship.
