ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has announced action against doctors who fail to renew their expired professional licences within the stipulated period.
The medical regulator has issued an alert for doctors whose licences have expired, advising them to complete the renewal process within six months.
According to the PMDC, doctors who do not renew their licences during the six-month grace period could have their registrations cancelled.
The council has urged medical practitioners to ensure that their licences remain valid and to complete renewal formalities within the prescribed timeframe.
The PMDC further clarified that an active licence is mandatory for doctors engaged in clinical practice. Those whose licences are cancelled or remain inactive will not be permitted to continue providing clinical services.
