KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistani actor Mahira Khan has expressed support for lawyer Jibran Nasir in the murder case of Karachi’s young businessman Mir Raza, praising his efforts and calling for an end to what she described as injustice.
For the past several days, clips of statements by Jibran Nasir have been circulating on social media. Mahira Khan has now commented on a statement by Nasir, who is representing Mir Raza’s family in the case.
Praising the lawyer, Mahira wrote that Jibran Nasir was doing an excellent job and said people would take to the streets against the injustice, adding that the situation should come to an end.
Earlier, an initial medical report released following the exhumation of Mir Raza’s body on Saturday stated that he had been shot from behind. The report also found signs of physical assault on his body.
The report further mentioned evidence of fractures to his right thigh and jaw, while blood stains were also found on tissues in the lower part of his body.
Further revelations have also emerged during the investigation into the case.
