PM Shehbaz wishes speedy recovery to Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif wished Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim a swift recovery as he undergoes medical examinations and procedures, expected to remain under observation for two days.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday extended his warm wishes and prayers for a swift and smooth recovery to his Malaysian counterpart Anwar Ibrahim who undergoes medical procedures.

The prime minister, in a post on his X timeline, expressed his solidarity, saying, “The people of Pakistan join me in praying for his continued good health and well-being. May Allah SWT bless him with a speedy return to his duties.

Earlier, Malaysian state-run news agency Bernama reported that Anwar Ibrahim was currently undergoing medical examinations and procedures prescribed by a team of medical specialists. He is expected to remain under medical observation for two days.

“Let us pray that the Prime Minister’s examinations and procedures proceed smoothly and that he is granted lasting good health, enabling him to resume his duties as usual in the near future,” the news agency reported quoting Prime Minister Ibrahim’s Senior Press Secretary Tunku Nashrul Abaidah.
