Parliament suitable forum for debate on new provinces: Murtaza Wahab

Political stability vital for prosperity

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has said the issue of provinces should be resolved in the Parliament under the Constitution, creating new issues will not solve problems.

Murtaza Wahab, while talking to the media, said unless there is political stability, there will be no economic stability, adding PPP always talks about adopting a democratic approach.

“MQM is an expert in ‘China Cutting’. Propaganda against Karachi should be stopped. Murtaza Wahab said the PPP wants improvements in the city, work will be started on 155 new roads in Karachi, the city will be restored to its former glory, and protesting by blocking roads is inappropriate,” the PPP leader said.

He said whether Mir Raza's death was murder or suicide, everything will become clear through investigation. It is the government's responsibility to satisfy the family members, he said. The Mayor inaugurated KMC Sports Complex in Landhi.
