Gold prices edge lower in Pakistan amid dip in global market

In the international market, gold prices slipped by $5 per ounce

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Gold prices recorded a slight decline in both the international and local markets on Tuesday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs500 per tola, bringing it down to Rs427,936. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs428 to Rs366,886.

In the international market, gold prices slipped by $5 per ounce, settling at $4,055 per ounce, contributing to the downward trend in domestic prices.

Meanwhile, silver prices moved in the opposite direction. The price of 24-karat silver in the local market increased by Rs60 per tola to Rs6,351.
