Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb pledged development projects for AJK, urging voters to support PML-N while highlighting the party's governance and public welfare initiatives.

KOTL (Dunya News) – Senior Punjab Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said the spirit of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supporters cannot be bought with money, expressing confidence that the party's workers and voters would remain steadfast ahead of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir elections.

Addressing a public rally in Kotli, she said thousands of kilometres of roads are being constructed across Punjab, adding that more than 1,000 Clinics on Wheels are providing healthcare services throughout the province. Responding to criticism from political opponents, she said development similar to Lahore is now taking place in cities across Punjab.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said the PML-N had carried out extensive road development projects in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, adding that the party's leadership genuinely represents the aspirations of the people. She said Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir witnessed parallel progress during Nawaz Sharif's tenure as prime minister and that his development projects remain visible across the country.

She added that WASA services are now available in all 41 districts of Punjab and announced that the Punjab government's Green Bus service would soon be introduced in Kotli. She also pledged the establishment of medical districts and cardiology centres in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, along with laptops and scholarships for young people.

The senior minister further said Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz would introduce a "Clean Kashmir" initiative, while the prime minister and the Punjab chief minister would also extend the Safe City project to Azad Jammu and Kashmir. She urged voters to exercise their right to vote wisely in the upcoming elections
