Three killed, one injured as house roof collapses in Lahore

Three people, including a child, were killed and one injured after the roof of a house collapsed in Lahore's Railway Colony. Rescue teams completed the operation after clearing the debris.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Three people, including a child, were killed and one person was injured after the roof of a house collapsed in Lahore's Garhi Shahu Railway Colony, trapping the family under the rubble.

According to Rescue 1122, the roof was constructed with mud and T-iron girders. Rescue teams recovered all four people trapped beneath the debris during the operation.

The deceased were identified as 45-year-old Mubeen, his 40-year-old wife and their 11-year-old daughter, Fatima.

Rescue officials said 14-year-old Emal sustained injuries in the incident and was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment. They added that no other person was believed to be trapped under the rubble, and the rescue operation has been completed.
