ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal government has announced another increase in petroleum prices, raising the cost of both petrol and high-speed diesel under the latest fuel price adjustment.

According to the official notification, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs3.66 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs335.18 per litre.

The price of high-speed diesel has also been raised by Rs4.80 per litre, with the new price set at Rs383.46 per litre.

The Petroleum Division said the revised prices were determined by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and will come into effect from midnight.

The latest increase is expected to put additional upward pressure on transportation costs and the prices of food and other essential commodities, raising concerns about a further increase in inflation and the cost of living for consumers.
