Sindh govt committed to modernising police force, says Murad Ali Shah

Murad Ali Shah said professionalism, integrity and public service should remain the defining qualities of the Sindh Police

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah said on Friday that the provincial government is committed to modernising the police force and enhancing its capacity to maintain law and order and protect the lives and property of citizens.

Addressing a passing-out parade ceremony, the chief minister praised the Sindh Police for its role in maintaining peace and protecting the public. He said the force remained ready to safeguard citizens, while a modern and professionally trained police force would play a key role in maintaining law and order.

Murad Ali Shah said professionalism, integrity and public service should remain the defining qualities of the Sindh Police.

He said his government was committed to improving the police force's operational capacity and providing it with modern facilities and resources.

The chief minister urged the newly recruited personnel to uphold the rule of law and play their part in strengthening public trust in the police.

He congratulated the recruits on successfully completing their training and expressed his best wishes for their future.
