Security forces kill six militants in Mastung intelligence-based operation

Security forces killed six militants and detained several suspects, including alleged facilitators and suicide bombers, during an intelligence-based operation in Mastung.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Security forces killed six militants and arrested several suspects during an intelligence-based operation in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, Balochistan, according to security sources.

The operation was launched on the basis of intelligence reports as part of an ongoing campaign against militant groups in the province. Security sources said the six militants were killed during the operation, while several others were taken into custody.

According to the sources, those arrested include alleged facilitators as well as male and female suspects accused of involvement in planned suicide attacks.

Security forces also destroyed multiple militant hideouts during the operation and recovered a large cache of weapons and ammunition from the sites.

Search and clearance operations are continuing in the area, with security forces maintaining a heightened presence. The operation follows recent militant activities reported in the Khad Kocha area of Mastung, prompting authorities to intensify intelligence-based operations across the region.
